Settimana... nel frullatore! - A week... in a mixer!!

Buonasera! Ho saltato il mio consueto appuntamento del giovedì, con tutte voi e con il blog hop di Heather, non ho quasi usato fb, non mi sono neanche accorta di aver vinto il button candy di Barbara (per il quale sono felicissima)... ma che succede???

Good evening! I skipped my usual thursday date with you and with Heather's blog hop, I had a very poor FB use, I didn't realize that I won Barbara's button candy... what happens??

Questa settimana è stata un vero delirio, vi faccio un riassuntino:
This week was a real frenzy, here you have a little summary:

Lunedì: Tommaso ricomincia l'asilo e io scopro che tornerò al lavoro alla scuola Maria Ausiliatrice, sono felicissima!! - Monday: Tommaso back to nursery  school and I discover that I will back to work at Maria Ausiliatrice School, so happy!!!!

Martedì: compleanno di mia mamma e gita al santuario della Madonna della Guardia. Qui c'è la red velvet che le ho preparato come torta di compleanno - Tuesday: My mom's birthday and trip to Madonna della Guardia. I made this red velvet  as birthday cake

Mercoledì: operazione all'anca di Thor e prima riunione a scuola. Thor sta benone, ma sarà una cosa lunga. Qui lo potete vedere con sua sorella Freia ^_^  - Wednesday: Thor had his hip suegery and I had my first meeting at school. Thor is fine but it will be a long business. Here you can see him with his sister Freia ^_^

Giovedì: Ancora scuola - Thursday: at school again

Venerdì: Serata di pesca in spiaggia -Friday: A fishing night on the beach

Sabato: Ho ospitato una dimostrazione del Bimby con amiche varie  - Saturday: I hosted a Termomix demonstrations with lots of friends

Domenica (oggi): giornata da pasticceri e fornai con Tomy, con tanto di dolci vegani per merenda con amici veg. Babbo Marco da oggi ricomincia con le  sue domeniche in redazione full time - Sunday (today): baking day with Tomy, with vegan cake and biscuits for veg friends. Daddy Marco today starts with his sundays  at the journal full time.

Scusate se sono stata poco presente... ma sono stanchina!!! Però davvero una settimana ricca di eventi, novità e belle notizie.. cosa chiedere di più?? 

Busy time, isn't it?? But it was a week full of events, changes and good news, why asking more??

Settembre in arrivo... - September is coming

Come sempre, quando settembre comincia a farsi sentire nell'aria (e quest'anno si sta preannunciando da due mesi...) io avverto un mix di sentimenti constrastanti. Da un lato, il pizzico di tristezza dovuto alla fine dell'estate e di tutto il tempo libero che mi regala, dall'altro la gioia di tornare  a scuola, con la preoccupazione di non sapere il mio destino fino almeno a metà mese. Tale è la vita dei precari... e per me i veri bilanci si tracciano a settembre, non il primo gennaio! Inoltre, questa settimana non sarei stata pronta per il consueto appuntamento con Heather e "This week in my kitchen", ma neanche lei lo è, questo giovedì si salta, così mi sento meno in colpa ;-)

As usual, when September is coming, I feel a  strange mix of feelings. On one side, I feel a little sad, because summer gives me lots of free time, on the other one the happyness to come back to  school, mixed with the worry about where I will work this year. This is the life of a temporary teacher... and for me the real evaluation is done in September, not on the first of January! Moreover, this week I could'nt take part to Heather's " This week in my kitchen" but neither her could, so this Thurday it is going to skip, so I feel less guilty ;-)

This week in my kitchen - diet time

Buonasera, rispetto alle mie abitudini mi trovo a postare in serata, ma oggi è stata una giornata piuttosto indaffarata e il mio consueto post del giovedì rischiava addirittura di saltare.

Come sempre, partecipo al blog hop di Heather e vi invito a fare un giretto nella mia cucina, in versione light questa volta, perché ci siamo (ri)messi a dieta, soprattutto in vista del matrimonio di una cara amica il 27 settembre, matrimonio al quale rischio di andare vestita con una tenda come Rossella O'Hara, se non perdo qualche chilo!!

Good evening, as opposed to my usual habit, I'm posting in evening, but today was a busy day and my usual Thrusday post risked even to be cutted.

How the same, I take part to Heather's blog hop and I invite you to have a peep in my kitchen, in light version this time, because, we go on a diet (again) now, mainly because of a dear friend's wedding, on september, 27th, wedding where I'm risking to go dressed with a courtain like Scarlet O'Hara, if I don't loose weight!!

Vi lascio con un foto collage (purtroppo con la filigrana del programma, perchè è una trial version) di ciò che mi rende felice. Su Facebook ho partecipato alla challenge #100happydays e proprio ieri sono arrivata al centesimo giorno. Questo percorso mi ha aiutata a capire alcune cose di me  che già sapevo, ma che forse ora ho più chiare e soprattutto ho reso chiare anche alla gente che mi circonda. 

I leave you with a photo collage (unfortunately with the watermark of the programme, because it's a trial version) about what makes me happy. On Facebook, I took part to the #100happydays challenge and I ended it yesterday. This path helped me to understand something about me that I already knew, but maybe now I can see clearlier, and most important I make clear also to the people around me.

Buongiorno! Oggi è un giorno davvero speciale nella nostra famiglia, è il compleanno di mio marito Marco!

Non posso postare ciò che preparerò per stasera e per domenica, giorno in cui tutta la famiglia si radunerà per festeggiare lui e anche suo padre, perché sono nati lo stesso giorno, ma ho qualcosina da mostrarvi lo  stesso.

I can't post what I'm going to cook for tonight and for Sunday, the day in which all the family will meet to celebrate him and his dad, because they were born on the same day, but I have something to show you all the same.

Ecco qui il nostro nuovo arrivo: Dusty! Un micetto delizioso, nato a pochi metri da casa nostra, dai nostri vicini, e arrivato qui da noi domenica. Nala è perplessa, ma tutto sommato se ne sta facendo una ragione.

Here you are our new arrival: Dusty! The cutest and sweetest kitten, born next to us, at our neighbours' home and arrived here last Sunday. Nala is a bit puzzled about him, but all in all she is quite calm.

Buongiorno! Torniamo alle vecchie abitudini, benvenute all'appuntamento settimanale con la  mia cucina, condita anche da un po' di craft, questa volta. Come sempre, partecipo al blog hop di Heather

Good afternoon! Let's come back to old habits, welcome to our weekly date with my kitchen, with a little bit of craft. How the same, I'm joining Heather's blog hop.

Grazie a Lella, ho preparato questi deliziosi zucchini per l'inverno, mio marito li ha trovati ottimi e sono un'ottimo modo per smaltire le ingenti scorte che l'estate porta di questa verdura un po' monotona. Trovate la ricetta qui.

Thanks to Lella, I made these delicious courgettes for winter, my husband loved them and they are perfect to get over with the large amount of this vegetable that summer brings. 
For my english speaking friends, here the recipe:
1 kg courgettes, cubed
2 cups olive oil
1 cup white wine
2 cups wine white vinegar
2 onionion, thiny sliced
12 sage leaves
1 rosemary spring
2 whole garlic cloves
2 tablespoon sugar
salt to taste
Oregano if you like it

Bring to boil oil, vinegar, wine, salt, sugar and herbs. When boiling, add onions and courgettes and let them cook for 5 minutes. Turn off the fire and let them cool in the pan, covered.
Put in clean jars to store for winter or in a box in the fridge to eat quickly ^_^. Enjoy it!!

Siamo tornati alla normalità dopo le vacanze, con questa estate ballerina parca di soddisfazioni dal punto di vista meteorologico. Il babbo è tornato in redazione e io e Tommaso siamo a casa con cani, gatti e piantine varie da curare, passando il tempo in molti modi interessanti.
Purtroppo, abbiamo anche il fondato sospetto che l'artigiano a cui abbiamo commissionato le persiane, mesi e mesi fa, ci stia fregando, perché ha intascato un sostanzioso acconto ed è sparito. La cosa ci amareggia molto, sia dal punto di vista morale che da quello vilmente economico. Speriamo di avere la nostra merce o riavere i soldi... purtroppo c'è moltissima disonestà a questo mondo!!!

We are back to our usual life after holidays, with this strange summer and its weather so moody. Daddy is back to the journal and Tommaso and me are at home with our dogs, cats and plants, spending our time in a lot of nice ways. 
Unfortunately, we also have the grounded suspicion that the artisan to whom we ordered our shutters is cheating us, because he pocketed a large advance and the he desappeared. We hope to have our shutters or our money, but this is so depressing, both ethically and economically... there is so much deceitfulness in this world!

We are back... sob sob sob!!!!

Buonasera! Siamo tornati dalla nostra strepitosa vacanza dolomitica, dispiaciutissimi perché il tempo che passiamo lassù non è mai abbastanza. Il meteo non è stato generosissimo con noi, ma non lamentiamoci troppo. Abbiamo fatto ben tre gite in quota e nei giorni di maltempo abbiamo visitato Bolzano (e salutato lungamente Otzi, l'uomo del Similaun, nuovo eroe di Tommaso) e fatto shopping fra Moena e Canazei. A ripensarci mi rimetto a piagnucolare...
Good evening! We are back from our amazing holyday on the Dolomites mountains, we are so sad because the time we spend there is not enough every year. The wheather wasn't too kind with us, but we can't complain too much, because we were able to have three trips on the mountains and in rainy days we went to visit Bolzano (and we had a nice meeting with Otzi, the Similaun man, Tommaso's new hero) and to have shopping in Moena and Canazei. Thinking about it, I start whinging again...
