We are back... sob sob sob!!!!

Buonasera! Siamo tornati dalla nostra strepitosa vacanza dolomitica, dispiaciutissimi perché il tempo che passiamo lassù non è mai abbastanza. Il meteo non è stato generosissimo con noi, ma non lamentiamoci troppo. Abbiamo fatto ben tre gite in quota e nei giorni di maltempo abbiamo visitato Bolzano (e salutato lungamente Otzi, l'uomo del Similaun, nuovo eroe di Tommaso) e fatto shopping fra Moena e Canazei. A ripensarci mi rimetto a piagnucolare...
Good evening! We are back from our amazing holyday on the Dolomites mountains, we are so sad because the time we spend there is not enough every year. The wheather wasn't too kind with us, but we can't complain too much, because we were able to have three trips on the mountains and in rainy days we went to visit Bolzano (and we had a nice meeting with Otzi, the Similaun man, Tommaso's new hero) and to have shopping in Moena and Canazei. Thinking about it, I start whinging again...

This week in my kitchen - 9

Buongiorno! Benvenuti all'appuntamento del giovedì nella mia cucina, grazie al blog hop di Heather. Questa settimana sarà una visitina veloce, non ho cucinato moltissimo e inoltre ho anche spesso dimenticato di fotografare il frutto delle mie fatiche in cucina, quindi sarà un giretto molto breve ma spero interessante. Anche sull'handmade ho latitato, ma a mia discolpa devo dire che ho scarrozzato Tommaso da vari amichetti e altri sono venuti qui a giocare, quindi tutta questa attività modello kinderheim ha decisamente frenato le possibilità di dedicarmi ai miei hobbies!
Spero che vi piaccia anche il nuovo look del blog, è stato così negletto nel recente passato che non mi ero accorta dei cambiamenti di Blogger, ho così fatto il passaggio ai nuovi modelli ma non ero più capace di mettere gli sfondi, insomma, un'impedita totale. L'altro giorno invece ho smanettato un po' e finalmente sono riuscita a personalizzarlo in modo carino, o almeno spero.
Bando alle ciance ora, e accomodatevi in cucina!

Good afternoon! Welcome to our thurday's date in my kitchen, thanks to Heather's blog hop. This week it will be a quick visit, because I didn't cook so much and also I often forgot to take picture of the outcome of my cooking, so it will be a short stroll but I hope it will be interesting all the same. Also with crafting I was a shirker, but in my defence I need to say that I spent lots of time driving around Tommaso to meet friends and lots of his friends came here,  this restrained a lot my time devoted to my hobbies! 
I hope you like my blog's new look, it was so neglected in the nearly past that I didn't realize that Blogger changed a lot, so I moved to the new model but I wasn't able to change backgrounds and to customise it, in other words I was a real incapable! The other day I tryed a lot and finally I suceeded to customise it in a nice way, or almost I hope so.
No more chatting now, let's go in my kitchen!

Buongiorno! Eccoci finalmente al nostro appuntamento settimanale con la mia cucina e con il blog hop di Heather, ma non solo. In effetti, i tempi in cui ero un "little crafty bird" sono un po' passati, ma d'estate rispolvero le mie antiche passioni e qualcosa in più produco, un po' come nel periodo natalizio. Perciò oggi avrete un bel po' di cosette da vedere, spero vi divertirete!!
Good morning! Here we are at our lovely weekly date with my kitchen and with Heather's bloghop, but not only this. As a matter of fact, in the past I was a real  "little crafty bird" but now I can't. But during summer I bring up again my passions and I'm able to produce something more, like during Christmas time. So, today you have to look at lots of things, I hope you will enjoy!

Vi presento il mio aiuto cuoco, Tommaso, impegnato a mangiarsi una fetta di pane con la Nutella, mentre mi aiuta a preparare i totani ripieni. Alla domanda "Ma poi li mangi??", risposta "ma no, bleah!! Li voglio solo preparare con te!"

I introduce my help - chef, Tommaso, here busy with a slice of bread and Nutella, while he is helping me cooking sfuffed squids. I asked him "Do you eat them at lunch?". He answered: "No!! Bleah!! I only want to cook them with you!"

Now it's a candle holder, but I'm thinkink about hunging it on a wood board, painted in shappy style or old looking dark wood. I have to decide!
